Owner of Rockabye Photographer

Official Baby Snuggler

Ok so here is one of those really awkward times where I get to tell you all about who is going to be snuggling, posing, and loving on your sweet little one. First and foremost, I am a mom (3 times over, in fact!). You know all of those super fun moments of motherhood like wiping spit up out of your hair? I have been there! Motherhood is the most intense, rewarding, and insane journey starting from the moment you get that positive pregnancy test and one thing is for sure, we will have a lot to chat about what's going on in your new adventure.

The first thing almost every client asks about me is "How did you get into newborn photography?" When I was pregnant with my first little guy in 2010, I decided to buy my first real camera to take photos of him. I knew NOTHING! That first year, I threw my camera into manual mode and all I did was explore how to take photos of him from different angels, in different light, etc.  After a few years of experimenting and taking photos of nearly anything for anyone willing to pay (and going to grad school for photography), I got my first newborn gig. I still talk to those clients and am forever grateful to them for giving me a shot at what is now one of the biggest passions of my life! I got to try out posing that little one and I. WAS. HOOKED. Honestly, I decided it's what I wanted to do and I have never looked back!

After having 3 little ones myself, I can honestly tell you that having a newborn is one of the most incredible experiences of my life. And it is truly amazing to see how moldable and snuggly they are fresh out of the womb. When I discovered this new love in my life, my goal immediately became to create art (beautiful, breathtaking art) using your sweet little bundle as my inspiration. Once you get to know me, you will find out that I am constantly trying to create. I love getting to know you, as a new parent, and your style so that I can incorporate that into something that you will stare at over and over again and something that you will want to hang on your wall to show your grandchildren.

I truly cannot wait to get to know you and to watch your family grow!  It is one of the biggest honors to be invited into your life and to be asked to tell your story from the very beginning. So thank you! Let's do this!
